How to preach the Gospel? (Matthew 10: 1-23)
Churches that have the staring letters with “St. (Saint)” are usually Roman Catholic churches.
- Think: Without the Gospel, what else do we have?
Matthew 9: 35-38, who is the greatest? For or against Jesus?
- Be careful whatever you are doing
Matthew 8: 2: the man with leprosy. Jesus healed him.
- Italian hug: studies have shown that people who hug or touch often with others will be happier
- Chinese are more conservative and therefore hug less
Matthew 9: 37-38
- For the harvest, we could not gather the crop anytime we want. It might be done inappropriate.
- For the Gospel work, we need to first ask God and His will first. If we do it out of our own interest, we might ruin the chances for the truth seeking friends
What did God say about preaching the gospel?

- Acts:1: 7-8, God is in complete control
Instead: We need to believe in God, believe in His sovereign power, share our testimonies, and preach His good news as we walk with Him

- There used to be preachers who died due to hunger
- 11: Going to the nonbelievers’ house, we will greet them

Now, what’s really the gospel? A parable to conclude the sermon today:
Gospel is like a delicious meal. It is already a delicious meal. Therefore, we need only to hold it firmly for the “guests” and not drop it. We need to show it to them at the proper time. Showing it too early or too late will only be inappropriate for them. (Too hot or too cold for the guests) We need to show it with genuine respect and at the same time, and we should not take it lightly.
