The real question is not only which came first: the chicken or the egg, but rather what do you believe: that all things evolved or that God made everything. Recently Professor Mark Rodger and colleagues in England developed a recent scientific study and approved that chickens came before the egg.
Which Came First: the Chicken or the Egg?
The chicken or the egg causality dilemma is commonly stated as "which came first, the chicken or the egg?" To ancient philosophers, the question about the first chicken or egg also evoked the questions of how life and the universe in general began.Cultural references to the chicken and egg intend to point out the futility of identifying the first case of a circular cause and consequence. It could be considered that in this approach lies the most fundamental nature of the question. A literal answer is somewhat obvious, as egg-laying species predate the existence of chickens. However, the metaphorical view sets a metaphysical ground to the dilemma. To better understand its metaphorical meaning, the question could be reformulated as: "Which came first, X that can't come without Y, or Y that can't come without X?" Which came first: the chicken or the egg? The possible answers for this are:
1.) The chicken
2.) The egg
Let’s tackle the egg theory first: The egg came first, if you use the thought process of evolution; some other type of animal had an egg, that just happen to produce a pre-chicken. Let's call this pre-chicken "Cro-Magnon Chicken". Cro-Magnon Chicken continued to reproduce more eggs and some eggs made chickens. Then of course this new chicken made more eggs which in turn made even more chickens. So in this instance the egg came first.
The second theory the chicken came first:If the chicken came first, then something must have made a chicken, in other words it was created as a chicken. Here's a quote from the Bible: Genesis 1:21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. In the Bible it doesn’t say God made a bunch of eggs all over the Earth, it says, “...God created…every winged fowl after his kind…”. So not just one bird that they all evolved from. So in this case the chicken came first So the real question is not which came first the chicken or the egg, but rather what do you believe: that all things evolved or that God made everything.
Now that puts a whole new spin on things, no longer is it just some funny kids question that makes you ponder, but now it is a question of profound faith, that kind of question shakes us from top to bottom and in our very depths of our soul! So choose wisely which came first…
The chicken – God made life on Earth
The egg – We all evolved from something else.

Now scientists wielding a powerful supercomputer have cracked the mystery of which came first, the chicken or the egg. The short answer is the chicken. The long answer is contained in the analysis called Structural Control of Crystal Nuclei by Eggshell Protein by British scientists published in the current journal Angewandte Chemie. Volume 122 Issue 30 , Pages 5135 - 5325 (July 12, 2010).

Professor Mark Rodger and colleagues in England recently helped develop a recent study and approved that chickens came before the egg, answering an age old question. The researchers wrote in the published report that it all comes down to one protein - ovocledidin-17 - which helps in the formation of the egg's hard shell. This essential ingredient in the formation of the egg can only be produced inside a chicken, scientists from universities in Sheffield and Warwick concluded.
